Musipire’s Winter Student Concerts return this December. From December 12 to 19, 2026, our students will perform in 8 student concerts in Queens, New York: pianists, violinists, guitarists, singers and drummers of every age and level, from first-year beginners to advanced players.
The 2026 winter concert schedule
- Saturday, December 12 – 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM
- Sunday, December 13 – 2:00 PM
- Friday, December 18 – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, December 19 – 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
Each concert lasts about an hour, with 10 to 12 performers, so every student gets a real moment in the spotlight and families never sit through a marathon.

What makes a Musipire student concert special
- A real stage. A grand piano tuned before every concert, microphones and sound, and a hall with beautiful natural acoustics.
- Short, focused programs. About an hour each, so young performers stay fresh and families stay for every child.
- Every level belongs. A child playing a first piece shares the stage with advanced students, and both get the same applause.
- Twice a year. Concerts every winter and spring give students a clear goal to work toward all year.
Why performing matters for children
Lessons build skill; the stage builds confidence. Preparing a piece for a concert teaches focus, patience and follow-through, and the moment a child bows to a room full of applause stays with them for years. That is why performing is part of learning at Musipire, the music school in Elmhurst, Queens, since 2003. See our concerts and student achievements.
